Carousel Maker renders every slide with the HTML5 Canvas API inside your web browser. The text you write, the images you add and your brand details are processed in your browser's memory and offered back to you as PNG, ZIP or PDF downloads. No text, image, filename or metadata is ever transmitted to our servers or to any third party. There is no server-side component that could receive your files.
We use localStorage to remember your carousel (slide text, uploaded images as compressed data URLs, template, theme, brand name, handle and avatar, saved brand kits), your theme preference and, if you purchase Carousel Maker Pro, your license status. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings or by using the "Clear" button in the tool.
If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the tool is used (page views, which buttons are clicked, approximate region). Analytics never receives your slide text or images. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies for this purpose. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking analytics scripts.
Carousel Maker may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA and UK will be asked for consent where required.
Carousel Maker Pro purchases are handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Stripe). We do not see or store your card details. When you activate a license key, the key and a device identifier are sent to the license API of the processor to verify the purchase; this is the only network request the tool makes on your behalf.
The "Download all (ZIP)" feature loads the open-source JSZip library from the jsDelivr CDN only when you use it. The CDN may log standard request data (IP address, user agent). No slide data is sent to the CDN. PDF files are generated entirely in your browser without any external service.
Carousel Maker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
